Audio sync between Apple TV and Airplay speakers

I’ve been trying to fix the audio sync issue between my Apple TV (4K) and airplay speakers (Sonos). There has always been a slight audio delay, and I was hoping that the update to iOS 13 and tvOS 13 would allow for proper calibration. However, the utility provided seems to only work with the native speakers, and not with airplay audio. Does anyone know if there is a way around this, or some other way to calibrate/sync the video and airplay audio on an Apple TV?

(As an FYI, my setup has my Apple TV plugged directly into a projector, and then I use a Sonos beam and pair of play:1s for the sound.

This Sonos support article only mentions the Playbar, Playbase and Beam from the Home Cinema line-up, so you might be out of luck setting the delay in the Sonos app.

Since the delay usually must be adjusted in the speaker itself or the device driving the speakers (e.g. an amplifier), it might be best to ask the Sonos support if this is possible for your setup.
