Does anyone know why the only option on the Apple TV 4K Default Audio Output option is "TV Speakers" in TvOS15 ? (It was worked before) I cant select the airplay as default, so now the audio sync setting is not working at all, because when I try to sync the audio ( for the lip sync ) the sound always comong from the “HDMI”and not from the airplay.
Wireless speakers were never a ‘default’ option (unless HomePods 2018).

I already select my airplay device in the: Connect in Settings﹥Video and Audio﹥Audio Output﹥ᴛᴇᴍᴘᴏʀᴀʀʏ…
..but the sync is not working as a mentioned before because, when I did it I heard the sound from the HDMI device and not from the airplay speaker. Please check it and report as a bug.
The same thing is happening to me, even though it was working perfectly before. It seems like the issue is not just a delay but a buffering problem, as I notice jumps in the video when using the airplay speakers.
I have the same issue. On my back deck, I have TV connected to a ATV 4 (A1625). With tvOS14, I had the audio default go to an Airplay Yamaha receiver that drove speakers on the deck. The TV speakers are off.
It was perfect - I turned on the TV with the Apple remote and everything just worked.
With the update, now I don’t have the option to select the default audio output to my Airplay receiver. I can select the Airplay receiver as a temporary option but it doesn’t appear as an option on the default audio output. On top of that, everything is out of sync.
The wireless audio sync does not work because it seems to want the audio signal to default the sound to the TV speakers and not to the temporary audio selection so I can’t adjust the audio sync.
I resolved by going back to tvOS 14.7 - luckily this unit was an ATV4 with USB-C port. Apple, please fix tvOS15. It was not ready for release. Also, having a port to be able to make software changes like this remains critical and I fear a “portless” device future were these changes are harder or impossible to do.
Please contact the Apple Support staff. If they have no solution ready, then they’ll be able to bring it to the attention of the responsible team.
So not possible the wireless airplay syncing with the tvOS15 , is it possible to report as a bug?
Same issue with most that update tvos to 15. The audio doesnt sync to frame and the default it not allowing to change it comes out but out of sync. Likely a tvos15 bug introduced!
