I tried changin my hdd to ssd and i succeeded in installing mac os mountain lion by internet recovery... I am now trying to update to el capitan and it shows error... I am currently using macbook pro mid 2012 with upgraded 8gb ram.. Please help me solve this problem

Check to make sure your applications are compatible.
Also check to make sure there is a compatible driver for your printer.
Do a backup before installing, preferable 2 backups on 2 different drives.

As Eric Root has stated, you can go straight to macOS 10.13 High Sierra right from OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.
OS X 10.9 and 10.10 are no longer available for download from the Mac App Store if you never downloaded these previously.

Cant update to high sierra or majave without updating to el capitan.... I am currently in mountain lion
I'm having this exact same issue. Does yours work if you try to do Mavericks as well?
I havent tried tp do mavericks yet...did you solve your issue... If yes can u please tell me how??
