I would start my removing the below Applications / Services

1 - Description: The Malwarebytes Engine extension manages your connection to the Malwarebytes VPN service.

2 -   [Not Loaded] NordVPN Threat Protection Pro™ - version 8.39.0 (Nordvpn S.A. - installed 2025-06-05)

    Application: /Applications/NordVPN.app - version 8.39.0 (Nordvpn S.A. - installed 2025-06-05)

Description: System extension is used to scan files downloaded from the internet for malware.

3 -  com.macpaw.CleanMyMac5.Agent.plist (MacPaw Inc. - installed 2024-12-20)

The problem connecting to the 2017 MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.7.6 was corrected by reinstalling the OS. The OS could not be reinstalled on the 2017 iMac due to a failing hard drive. I expect I'll be able to connect to the iMac once the hard drive is installed.

Thanks,

Ed

Could not post this earlier. Cannot Wi-Fi connect to macOS Ventura 13.7.6 from 2023 PowerBook running Sequoia 15.5 nor from 2010 PowerBook running High Sierra. Both computers can screen share with Ventura computers. Ventura computers can connect with both computers. Venturas are 2017 iMac and 2017 PowerBooks. Problem started when Ventura OS upgraded from 13.7.5 to 13.7.6. All computers are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Sorry, I had gotten error messages the first time I tried to send the report and thought is was not sent. I tried again a couple of days later. That is why both reports are the same. I am not sure exactly how I am to remove the stated applications / services and where I find these items.

Note the my 2010 MacBook Pro also cannot connect to the Ventura 13.7.6 machines. It does not have Nord VPN nor CleanMyMac. I am adding its etrcheck file

I also ran etrcheck on my iMac which is running Ventura 13.7.6. I can send it if you want it. Note that I was able to run that while using screen share from my 2023 MacBook Pro. I can screen share but not connect via Finder

As far as I can tell VPN has been removed and the Mac has been restarted several times. Also please note that the 20110 PowerBook Pro has the same problem of not being able to connect to the machines running Ventura 13.7.6 and it has never had any sort of VPN.

Thanks,,Ed

Still cannot connect to 2017 iMac running Ventura 13.7.6 via wi-fi using Finder from other Mac computers - 2023 PowerBook Pro - Sequoia 16.5, 2017 PowerBook Pro - Ventura 13.7.6, 2010  PowerBook Pro - High Sierra 10.13.6. iMac can connect to all other computers via Finder.  All computers can connect to 2017 PowerBook. All computers are on the same wi-fi network.  iMac was found to have a failing hard drive which has since been replaced and has a new install of Ventura 13.7.6.  Neither the iMac nor the 2010 PowerBook ever had VPN installed - hard to see how that could be an issue between those two machines. At first could not connect to 2017 Powerbook but reinstalling Ventura fixed the issue so I could connect.  Reinstalling after the initial install on the new hard drive on the iMac did not help.  Where do I go from here - HELP PLEASE!!
