Wondering if routing calls has been possible in the past, but has stopped working, or if this is somethhing new you want to establish.

The Made for iPhone (MFi) hearing aids in the linked list below are compatible with iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro devices that meet the system requirements.

List of Made for iPhone hearing devices - Apple Support NB: There are no Phonak hearing-aids listed.

Seems you may need to rely on the Phonak app, in order to control your hearing-aids.

There are likely to be firmware and / or app updates from time to time ... the hearing-aid manual may have info.Keeping the software up-to-date on the hearing-aids.

Keeping the iOS version updated on the iPhone (as well as hearing-aids software) may help avoid problems.

We can not guess what "all recommended settings" actually means

... recommended by ? Apple / ? Phonak / ? Google or ?

If you haven't already: You may need to trouble-shoot with Phonak ... they have support online:

Do your hearing-aids have a microphone for speaking to callers who phone you?

If you haven't already tried this setting:

While on a call on iPhone - Apple Support explains how to switch a call to your hearing-aids

ie: "swipe down on the call banner", then:

"Talk handsfree: Tap the Audio button, then choose an audio destination."
