All My Notes Disappeared After Upgrading iCloud Storage

Hi, I’m experiencing a serious issue with the Notes app on my iPhone.

Today, I upgraded my iCloud storage plan from 50GB to 200GB. After the upgrade completed, all of my notes suddenly disappeared from the Notes app. Not a single note remains.

Here are the details:

• I did not delete any notes manually.

• The “Recently Deleted” folder does not appear in my Notes app.
• 
  
• 
  
• I checked on iCloud.com, and the Notes folder is completely empty.
• 
  
• 
  
• In Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Notes, the toggle for Notes syncing was off.

• 
  
• After the issue occurred, I tried creating and deleting a new note, but it didn’t bring any old notes back.

• I also did not have iCloud Backup turned on before this happened.
• 
  

The contents of my notes were very important and personal, and I sincerely hope there’s still a way to recover them.
