Apple Music Student only comes with Apple TV for 3 months?

I signed up for an Apple Music Student Subscription and was verified as a university student, and was excited that my music was going to be $5.99/month.

I was EXTRA excited that I would have access to AppleTV included in the Apple Music Student Subscription (and called to ensure it was included-was told that as long as I was a verified student for up to 4 years, I could get the TV for no additional cost).

I saw that after the third month I am being billed $9.99/month for AppleTV, and have called 2 times.

they have told me that the TV subscription only lasts for 3 months of the student plan.

on multiple places ON the Apple website it says the following:

“Free Apple TV+ access for students ends when you no longer qualify or do not renew your Apple Music student plan. Offer good for verified college students only and does not extend to a Family Sharing group.”

I shared this information with the individuals I spoke with and they stated that the Apple website is wrong.

Am I misunderstanding something? Are other people enjoying AppleTV with their Apple Music Student plan and I’m the only one with this issue?

Looks like the offer is for "new subscribers only" and is a "limited-time offer" that may "end at any time".

Also has the "Limited-time offer; offer may end at any time." footnote.

If you've already talked to Apple twice, and both times they have told you that the free Apple TV+ access is only for three months, then I guess that "For a limited time, you also get access to Apple TV+ at no extra cost" translates to "For a limited time [three months], you also get access to Apple TV+ at no extra cost."
