Apple states, "...if you have an Apple Music student subscription, you also get Apple TV+ for a limited time".
I have a billed student subscription and when I try to launch Apple TV I only get a prompt to redeem a free 3 month trial with my new iPhone purchase.
It seems like this should be included with the student subscription while I have that, correct?
What am I missing? What do I need to do to activate TV access?
I think any Apple student subscription would revert to a regular individual subscription if the qualification through UNiDAYS isn’t confirmed.

I think I somehow activated my student Apple Music subscription via Apple, and somehow missed the connection while verifying my UNiDAYS. So now it is saying I'm already a subscriber and can't activate it that way.
Not sure how I messed that up. :-/
If you have an Apple Music Student subscription (as linked through UNiDAYS), then you should get complimentary Apple TV+ on that same Apple ID account (for countries where both services are available). No separate activation needed. It wouldn’t show as a separate subscription, but you should have full access to all of the Apple TV+ content in the Apple TV app. Have you tried watching any of the Apple TV+ shows or movies?
