Past advice on how to cancel Shuffle in iTunes doesn't work on my 2013 iMac working on Catalina.

I'm trying to cancel the Shuffle on my 2013 27"iMac using Catalina, but past adviveshows something that isn't on my iTunes window.

This is what I see in my iTunes, plus a pane that quite frankly, is a pain in the backside and in my view is unnecessary.

Why would I want to clear 23 songs that I enjoy listening to?

The advice given by a responder in 2022 is of NO USE TO ME as it features icons not included in my iTunes window.

In simple terms - No, it doesn't, and I think it may be an OS problem. Various problems arise, especially on Facebook.

This is my Controls pane and as you can see, it's checked for OFF, so it shouldn't shuffle.

Is macOS Catalina still supported by Apple?

Support Ending November 30, 2022

In keeping with Apple's release cycle, we anticipate, macOS 10.15 Catalina will no longer receive security updates starting in November 2022.

Can I upgrade from macOS Catalina to Big Sur?

Upgrading from macOS Catalina 10.15 or Mojave 10.14? Go to Software Update in System Preferences to find macOS Big Sur. Click Upgrade Now and follow the onscreen instructions.

I fail to see how Big Sur is an upgrade since my Catalina is 10.15.7, whereas Big sir is only 10.14.

Apple withdrew support for Catalina on 30 September 2022.

In spite of all that, my system seems to have self-corrected, and that album is operating normally....for now!.
