Google on Safari keeps asking to use location

I have a new iPad and iPhone and I keep getting the below notification every other day or so when I am search Google on Safari & Chrome on both devices.

It never used to constantly ask me for my location.

Why is this happening, does anyone know? I keep pressing ‘allow’.

How can I make Google Map remember my location settings on iPhone? I'm getting the alerts that say "Google Maps has used your location 5 times in the background over the last 3 days..." etc I click on ALWAYS ALLOW but then a few days later I get the same message (for Google Maps again). I want my iPhone to remember that I clicked on Always Allow. And yes, I do want Google Maps (or other apps) to ALWAYS check my locations in background, not only when the app is in use. IOS 18.4.1 - Location Bug - Constantly Asking for LOCATION PERMISSION for Weather, Maps, Messages, Calendar, Contacts I'm on an IP15PM w/IOS 18.4.1 (latest as of this posting) ... starting w/IOS 18.3.2, I've noticed constant prompting for LOCATION permission on IOS delivered applications (calendar, messages, maps, weather, etc.) 1). Anyone else experiencing this? 2). Any fixes/work arounds?

It happens because search engines provide more relevant accurate search results if you give them access to your location. I imagine if you say allow, the message will stop being displayed.

Thank you, I did click ‘allow’ but it keeps asking a lot more often than it used to.
