Can I use two App Store accounts in an iPhone?

My app store account was opened while I lived in the US. Since then I moved to Chile. I now have trouble using devices bought in Chile because the Iphone app that controls them was bought from the US App store -a different region.

What is the best possible solution to this?

Is having two appstore accounts in the same iphone an option. Could I use apps downloaded in a second account opened from Chile while having the iphone signed in to the original account?

Whilst it is not recommended, but you can download applications from different App Stores. The issue is with updating the installed app. Each time to need to update, you need to do it from the current Apple ID on the App Store **and then** change the Apple ID to the other account and update.

This is an issue ONLY if there are apps that are exclusive only to a certain region. In most cases, apps are available globally - so retaining the US App Store would be best.

Good luck.

Yes, to update your apps - you do it from the App Store, but that will only update apps that you downloaded using that account. To update the apps downloaded using the other App Store account, you need to login to that account. As I stressed before, this is not recommended, but it might solve your issue of US **and** Chile App Store accounts.

Best practice is to stick to only one App Store region.
