Hello, I have 1 Apple ID with Italy as selected country. I use that AppleID for 2 iPhone, one SIM for Italy and one SIM for Australia. However, when I want to download apps specific to Australia the system won’t let me because the ID is registered for Italy. Any way I could work around this issue ? Thank you

You would have to change the region the Apple ID store is set for.
Region - Change your iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or App Store country or region.
The downloaded apps should stay on the phone. After changing stores, you may not be able to update the apps if the version in the new store is a different version.
The other option is to create a new Apple ID to use in the new store. Then set up Family Sharing between the two IDS.
