How Do I Stop Final Cut Pro From Validating Audio Units

Does it occur every time FCP starts? It is not supposed to.

You may want to delete this file:

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.InfoHelper.plist

then log out and back in, start FCP again.

The first time, it will go through all of the plugins once again, but subsequent starts of FCP should not.

The one you found certainly looks like it may play a part in this.

You could try dragging that file to the Desktop, logging out and back in, and then trying FCP.

It may be painful to wait it out, but maybe it would work.

That part was to be expected. The thought was that may it had gotten corrupted somehow, and that deleting it (and it being recreate) might help.

I don’t think it will affect anything but you can, just in case, put the file somewhere else (on the Desktop, for example) and if necessary you can put it back.
