Final Cut Pro x app hangs on Validating audio units.

It is extremely annoying, that you once in a while have to wait for FCPX to choke on validating AU plugs.

I use my plugins for Logic, but only a fraction of them in FCPX. The answer I've seen in here, is that some AU plugs might be bad... But they do work in anything else than Final Cut.

So here's a suggestion, that would save me and a lot of others a huge amount of time: Make it possible to BYPASS any scan of AU plugs, unless the user asks for it. Making that manual with a plugin manager, would be even better. So you could choose a few plugs, that the user actually uses in FCPX.

As it is now, I'm dumping FCPX, because I can't make it start and I DO NOT want to erase all or some of my plugs, every time I use FCPX. I often use both Logic and FCPX at the same time, so the work around with moving the AU plugs in and out of the library is NOT an option.

Please make this work. I like FCPX and would like to actually use it. But for now I have to use DaVinci.

First, this is a user to user forum. Those who are reading this can’t do anything more than you can to change the software. Second, what you can do is use feedback in the FCP menu to make your report the problem you have and make your suggestion. What a lot of users do who work with specialist audio software or other applications is to use multiple users. You have a separate login for video applications, for audio work, and perhaps for your personal content.
