The system worked well until Apple’s update.

AcornBob ~ Your iPhone 13 mini could be 3½ years old and the long process of applying an iOS update to an iPhone with a weak, aging battery can be the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back." So...
Does your iPhone 13 mini still have its original battery?
And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

And it’s not Apple’s responsibility to keep it working with a new update. It’s the developer's responsibility to keep their products compatible with any new updates to Apple’s operating systems. That’s why I asked if you had spoken with the your product’s technical support. They could be working on an update.
Thanks for all of your replies.
I took my iPhone, TV box and hearing aids to my local hospital where the hearing aid technicians worked their magic and now all is well.
I wasn’t the only person who had this problem.
Alancito,
My iPhone 13 mini does still have its original battery and its Maximum Capacity is 89%. I don’t know if this is good or bad.

AcornBob ~ 89% is good. Apple suggests 80% Maximum Capacity as the level at which the battery should be replaced.

The hearing aids do connect to the app but the separate box that allows the sound from my television to go directly to my hearing aids.
It’s very difficult to understand the TV without subtitles.

What did StreamLine customer support tell you when you contacted them about this? Since this is not an Apple product your first call should be to StreamLIne’s support group.
