AcornBob ~ Your iPhone 13 mini could be 3½ years old and the long process of applying an iOS update to an iPhone with a weak, aging battery can be the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back." So...

Does your iPhone 13 mini still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

The system worked well until Apple’s update.

And it’s not Apple’s responsibility to keep it working with a new update. It’s the developer's responsibility to keep their products compatible with any new updates to Apple’s operating systems. That’s why I asked if you had spoken with the your product’s technical support. They could be working on an update.

Thanks for all of your replies.

I took my iPhone, TV box and hearing aids to my local hospital where the hearing aid technicians worked their magic and now all is well.

I wasn’t the only person who had this problem.

Alancito,

My iPhone 13 mini does still have its original battery and its Maximum Capacity is 89%. I don’t know if this is good or bad.
