Aggregate device drift correction causing frequency cut at 20 kHz in audio production on Ventura

A user had reported drift correction causing frequecy cut at 20 kHz in audio production, which is a horrible thing to happen, especially when the Aggregate Device feature is something many users like me depend upon. The user was using Ventura.

The particular use wrote that he switched off Drift Correction and the problem got resolved! What? That's crazy. Switching off drift correction is not something you want in a recording and mixing setup.

I would like to know if others have experienced this issue as well and how have they resolved it, particularly now in 2025. I have just invested in an M4 Mac Mini and am only discovering this now.
