How do I turn off Memoji and stickers on iOS 18.3?

IOS 18.3 has forced the memoji and sticker tabs onto the emoji keyboard. I want to shut those off, but the toggle in the keyboard settings is apparently for looks only as it doesn't actually change anything. The memoji is especially annoying, how can I turn it off?

I am having this same issue. It’s off but I still accidentally send stickers. It’s annoying and I hope they push a fix for it out if enough people comment on it.
