I know there’s an option in settings to turn stickers off in the keyboard section and prior to updating to 18.3, it did work. But now since I updated to 18.3 they’re almost stuck on (pun intended) and they’re also in my Facebook/social media keyboards too. I NEVER use the stickers and hate when I accidentally select it, does anyone have a permanent solution to get rid of them? TY!

That doesn’t work, they’re still on in iMessage! It turns it off for other messaging apps like WhatsApp and Messenger and even Notes and Journal but nothing for iMessage.

I thought they would’ve patched it in 18.4 as well, I submitted at least 4 “feedback” options and nothing. And now I have this glitch in 18.4 where if you reply to a text from the Lock Screen by press and hold, the keyboard blocks the whole thread 😂 Confused with what apple doing dropping updates without fixing current bugs.
i had this issue, i went into keyboards where you can add different languages and deleted the emoji one and added it back. it worked with removing the stickers so far.
Are referring to the Messages app list that appears when clicking the "+" to the left of the composition area. If so, you can tap-hold-drag "stickers" or any app in the list to the bottom of the list to get it out of the way.
Unfortunately, there no longer seems to be a way to actually edit that list. I also just tested the option (Settings > General > Keyboards > scroll to the bottom > Stickers) and as you noticed it does not seem to have any affect at all.
Same thing here on both iOS and ipadOS after update to 18.3
I have the sticker keyboard off but the sticker interface is still accessible in my emojis. Not cool. I have a lot of them but don’t want them on all the time, and have had them off for months, but now they are stuck “on”.
this has been happening for almost a couple months for me now, it started after i moved to a new phone and restored from icloud. i cannot get anything to work in terms of permanently fixing it. logging out of icloud and then logging back in temporarily fixed it, but the issue was back after about an hour.
this bug also only shows up in imessage and other native apps. the problem doesn’t occur on social media apps.
the stickers are always showing in the emoji keyboard, they never shift positions either, they just constantly take up half of the keyboard :/
no, that’s not what this issue is. this issue is that in settings when the sticker keyboard is toggled OFF it’s always showing no matter what.
logging out and back in to icloud very temporarily fixes it, but it’s back within an hour
Please bring it up to apple customer service so they pay attention to us.

That’s what I’m saying, I’ve had it turned off for months now. I think it’s a glitch in apples newest update where it forces it to stay on
Yeah I had the stickers off before but since the latest update they seem to show up even tho it’s turned off
iOS 18.3.1 after turning toggle off still showing up and won’t remove them.
I was hoping that iOS 18.4 would fix this issue, but sadly it hasn't :-(
No changes with 18.5. I don’t think they actually care about it.
