My ringer button to turn off/on isn’t working since iPhone was updated

After IPhone was updated to 18.30 IOS my side ringer button doesn’t function

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 18

Go to Settings ➜ Action Button, and make sure it's set to Silent Mode.

And remember you need to hold it down to activate the Silent mode, just pressing it, will not silence or un-silence the phone.
