My ringer button to turn off/on isn’t working since iPhone was updated

After IPhone was updated to 18.30 IOS my side ringer button doesn’t function

iPhone 11 ringer issues When I switch the ringer button to the on position, the phone goes crazy switching back and forth between “ringer on” and “ringer off”. It does this until I switch the button to off. I have restarted, I have checked all my notification settings and stuff. I have taken the case off, changed to a case that doesn’t cover the switch, and cleaned the switch area. Nothing has helped so far. Any ideas?

Go to Settings ➜ Action Button, and make sure it's set to Silent Mode.

And remember you need to hold it down to activate the Silent mode, just pressing it, will not silence or un-silence the phone.
