Hello everyone, lately i've noticed that my iphone 16 is charging slower than its expected to do,for example in 30 minutes my battery went from 18% to only 50% which is much slower than the expected 50% in 30 min.Its really annoying and i want to ask if someone else is having this issue and what can cause this considering my phone is charged only 20times its basically brand new.I am charging with originall 20W cable and charger.

Apple uses smart algorithms (early form of simple AI) to set the charge rate. The charge rate is dynamic, meaning it changes constantly. Sensors report individual cell conditions, temperatures, rate of charge, past usage and much more. The charge rate is adjusted every time you charge your battery and adjusts it as individual cells heat up. It’s supposed to work this way.

Monitor the charging over a period of like several weeks and you’ll get a better idea if it’s actually slowing down. But to get any meaningful data you need to look at times over 30 to 50 cycles. A few days isn’t enough data to draw a conclusion.
