3 way calling, unable to add call goes to contact list only. If i add the person to my contact list then 3 way calling works, do i have to delete each person after 3 way calling as i don't want them in my contacts? Ocurred after ios 18

Call Merge & Conference Calls are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
Called carrier, they say it is provisioned on line, I had them toggle off then back on..still not functional, had them disable it, still not functional. Turned back on, they say it has 'something to do with apple's infrastructure'
Also dnd, volte and wificalling disabled....totally crazy, happening to a colleague of mine as well, all software is current, apps too
