IPhone assistive access limits me to 14 contacts in the call list.

When setting up assistive access and adding the call app, you can choose to allow receiving calls from all contacts, but you have to choose which contacts you can call. I can only add 14 contacts and then it stops adding any more. I try selecting more but they won't add. No error message, it just won't add any to the list. Anyone else experiencing this?

Calls Workaround:

Make sure the Contacts app is accessible. Then, when you want to call someone -> open Contacts -> select person's name -> tap on Call or their phone number, and it will call them (anyone in Contacts).

Also, if they want to call someone who is not a contact: 1) Make sure you have the keypad visible (in the Settings when you set up the Calls function). 2) They can just dial the number like a normal phone I the Calls app.

Texts Workaround:

I didn't find one unfortunately.

Found text workaround!

You can send a text to anyone in your contacts if:

1) If you call up Siri and dictate the text.

2) You might need Siri and dictation enabled in the Setting before you launch into Assistive Access.

With these two workarounds it means for 99% of cases I can call and text who I want without losing the focusing benefits of dumbing my phone down.

I also am having this same issue. Limitations in texting and phone calls should be options only.

My father needs to have access to all of his contacts and incoming calls and texts; and be able to text and call them back.

He has over 40 friends and family.

Sadly I will not be able to simply his phone as I had envisioned.

Apple please make the necessary changes, so we can set up this feature as we think best for our loved ones. So frustrating!!!
