How do I enable Apple Intelligence on iPhone 16 Pro Max when the option is missing?

i have a iphone 16 pro max and I don’t have the option to turn on Apple Intelligence or get it even if I update my software there’s nothing about it but my mom which has the same phone as me but in a different color has it what can I do?

There can be reasons such as:

You haven't set the language and Siri language to a supported language
You are in the EU, where Apple Intelligence has not yet been released (coming in April)
You are in China or your phone was manufactured for the China market (to know, open Settings > General > About > Model and if it ends in CH/A), your phone isn't eligible for Apple Intelligence, regardless of where you live, until it is approved in China
