How do I turn off emergency override after liquid in iPhone Lightning port ?

I accidentally clicked emergency override when I was notified that there was liquid in the lightning port. How do I turn off the emergency override or how do I know if the liquid is dried up and the phone is solely charging on its own?

Apple doesn't exactly say how to turn it off, if it can be turned off. They don't recommend charging the phone if liquid has been detected. At least not through the USB Charging port. Wireless charging is OK, as long as the back of the phone is dry.

If the phone was actually wet, it should honestly be turned off and put in a dry warm place for a day or so and hope it didn't suffer permanent damage. DO NOT place it in rice. That is NOT recommended and cause more damage.

To be completely safe, it would be recommended to schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation.

You didn't answer my question asking if the phone actually got wet? If it did, it may be OK or may not be OK. Water intrusion can take time and if it got wet inside the phone, it could cause permanent and irreversible damage.

Again, if the phone actually got wet, you should schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar to have the phone checked out.
