No longer possible to sort episodes in Podcast app queue

I can no longer sort or rearrange episodes in the Podcast app queue (iOS 18.2.1). When you sort episodes with the three-bar "slider icon," the top and bottom episodes of the 6 episodes visible can no longer be selected at all and if you move any episode above or below the 6 visible ones (even when you let go of the slider) all of the episodes get re-scrambled in a new random order after a few seconds. The entire idea behind this functionality is now completely broken.
