Apple podcast - Editing the queue doesn’t work

ipad pro at 18.2 and i cannot edit the queue in apple podcasts. i used to be able to edit the order very easily. now it changes back as soon as i edit the order. how can i fix this?

Same. The new order has been springing back to a previous sequence after a few moments.

This has made me really really angry. Been using the app for more than a decade and this is such a simple but essential feature. I don’t understand how the broke something so simple. iOS 18.2.1 and it still doesn’t work.
