Mark as Played removes from Queue

Up until isOS18 my workflow for podcasts was:

• Go into up next to see what’s new
• For each episode decided if I want to listen to it - if I do add it to either the front or back f my queue
• mark all episodes in up next as played clearing them all out

this would leave everything I still wanted to listen to in my queue, but would clear out the up next so the next day I could see only what new episodes came in and I wasn’t accidentally double adding anything to my queue.

it seems like now with the ios18 update when I mark an episode as played it also removes it from my queue.
