HomePod cutting out on iPhone 14 Pro Max

This started yesterday, January 13, 2025 - I've had the HomePod for a year. I have the Home app on my iPhone 14 pro max. Yesterday the music playlist I had playing started cutting out. I could get it going again by taking my phone over to the HomePod and holding it over the device and the music would return. This went on and on. Today I played another playlist for a good hour with no problem... then it started cutting out again.

When I use my iPhone to let my HomePod (first gen) Stereo pair play an album unregularly the song stops a few seconds before it was ended, then there is a silcence for about 2 seconds, then the next song begins for about 1 second, it stops for 1 second and then it begins again and continues playing. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I hope it was fixed with HomePodOS 18.1 but it is not.

HomePod 2 cuts out constantly So I’ve bought a HomePod 2 and and have an iPhone 14 pro. Both are fully updated and always updated. There is some crazy insane bug with this system. So when playing music from my phone if I clear the music app from my screen the sound stops, but when I open the app then track is actually still playing. Clicking play/stop does nothing. The only way to make it play is by cueing the track forward or back and this doesn’t work all the time. Next when music app is open and phone is locked, when opening again the phone the music stops but track is still playing as above and to make it play again is the same tedious procedure. Next if music is playing and the app is not on screen when I click the music app the sounds stop and track is still playing and the same procedure to make it play. What is going on with this? It’s driving me insane. I can’t listen to an album or even one track without it cutting off constantly. This happens whether streaming or playing a file that I’ve download, and also happens no matter what sound quality settings I am using, atmos, no atmos etc. None of it makes any difference. Yet it works perfectly with my AirPod pro 2s

Homepod Mini stops playing music randomly and wouldn't connect this morning When playing music from my phone to my Mini it will just randomly stop playing for about 30 seconds regularly throughout the day. My phone is right next to it and there's nothing wrong with my wifi. This morning it just wouldn't connect with my phone and I wasted half an hour troubleshooting. I am so disappointed with this purchase, being an Apple product and I'm a long term Apple supporter, I expected much better. I should have purchased another UE Boom as it never had a problem playing my music.
