Inaccurate precipitation forecast on Apple Weather

Weather is so so wrong!

43” of snow in last 6 hours?

no!

more like 3”

this was way off earlier in the week for snowfall also

why can’t apple get this more accurate?

Why is Apple's Weather app consistently inaccurate for temperature and storm predictions? For just about year now the weather app has been so wrong! Like today it’s -13 outside!!!!! The app says it’s 1 degree out! It’s hardly ever right. The storms lately the app says no snow at all, it will literally be a whiteout outside. it’s aggravating when you run a business and need to know the REAL weather! I don’t want a million weather apps on my phone either so APPLE!!!!!! FIGURE THIS OUT AND FIX IT!!!!! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Whatever Apple shows is what the Weather Channel sends to them. You're not the first to point this out, but again, it's NOT Apple sending you the information. They are just sending what they get from the Weather Channel.
