iPhone X only able to use iOS 16.7.10, I tried to use Apple store app but it direct me to the update but the update required iOS 17, then I tried to browse the Apple website online, but it redirect me to sto app and then to the update, seriously??? what to do???

Maybe some other tricks with Safari browser
can be in order, for that to help in this matter?
If Safari isn't loading websites or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Or if you have a good backup to PC or Mac use that
and restore the system from the computer backup.

The iPhone X can't be updated past iOS 16.x, it doesn't have the hardware needed to run anything higher.
If you need to run a higher version, you will need to purchase a newer phone.
• If you have an iPhone 8 or X, you can update to 16.7.10
• If you have an iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), or XR through 16, you can update to 18.2.1

No iOS 17 update for the iPhone X.
The iPhone X ran iOS 11.0.1 when it came out over seven years ago, and it got five major version updates, but iOS 16 is the end of the line. Saying "please" and using emojis will not magically upgrade the iPhone X's hardware to make it compatible with later iOS versions.
