Volume on iphone16 automatically goes up when speakerphone on and I make background noise.

The volume on my iphone16 automatically goes up when I am, for example, on hold with a company and have the speaker on in order to do something else (e.g., dishes) and I make background noise (e.g., water running).

I don't want the volume to go up on its own. Most recently, the company that had me on hold due to "unusually large call volumes" was playing violin music, and when I washed a dish, the violins became ear-piercing.

I've already checked Accessibility > Sound Recognition within the Iphone's settings, per suggestion by Chat GPT.

Does anyone have any ideas?

iPhone 16, iOS 18
