iPhone 16 pro Max speakerphone Volume fluctuating while listening to stereo sound

Yep. Having the same issue. Notice it while listening to YouTube in the background with the volume cranked. People talking in my videos sound like they are turning their head away from the mic and then brining it closer.

16 Pro Max. I transferred my data from my old 13 Pro Max.

I haven’t noticed this in TikTok or the Music App. I’m inclined to believe this issue is related directly to YouTube.

Same thing here. IPhone 16 Pro Max. Driving me nuts and I was thinking it was the software we use to live stream was the problem, so I went digging for at least 3 weeks now trying to figure out what setting is wrong on our streaming software. 3 weeks looking at the mixing board thinking someone has changed something. I put bluetooth headphones on this evening and everything was fine. So, it's the phone. It's so annoying, it's almost unusable to watch movies, videos, etc. without headphones on. For me, it's only a month or so old, could be going back to the store I bought it from tomorrow. Traded in a perfectly usable Iphone 13 Pro for this mess. It's not just Youtube, Facebook, X, etc, it's everything. Can't really tell during a phone conversation, so there's that to brag about.

I’m also noticing a similar behavior with my iPhone, portrait or landscape. It is totally annoying!
