i got the iphone15 last month but recently noticed while uploading a video on instagram story, the video becomes lighter and dull i tried updating the phone, changing insta settings, restarting the phone but still not able to fix the issue

This is very common with Instagram. It's NOT an Apple iPhone issue. It is completely on the Instagram side. Jeff's recommendation to discuss this with Instagram is the right thing. Though you'll likely not get much in the way of an answer or support from them. Remember that Instagram is Meta owned. Apple has no control over their apps or software.

Have you talked to Instagram support team about this issue? Instagram has to decompress the videos uploaded. I suspect their compression algorithm is changing the color and contract.
