Inconsistent HDMI connection on iPhone

I connect my phone to my TV with an HDMI connector. I do this almost every morning. Sometimes it works sometimes it just does not work doing the same exact thing as the time before. It ruins my morning, I get up early plan my morning go downstairs to plug in my workout and then it just will not work.

Why do I buy apple products? Can we all please boycott apple? Maybe then they will actually try to make products that are reliable. I am getting really fed up paying $1000s on ****.
