iPhone 16 won’t unlock when I swipe up

i was setting up my new iPhone 16 and transferring from my old iPhone 13. It was doing an update and got stuck for an hour on that. Now it’s on the hello screen and when I swipe up it won’t unlock. Can’t get to the number screen to put in my code to unlock phone. I’ve done many hard resets but doesn’t change anything. Phone is also quite warm.
