Data connection issues on iPhone 7
I have an iPhone 7 and for some reason I lose data connection

Are you referring to losing cellular data or wi-fi? What are you doing when you lose this data connection? If you are using wi-fi, it is designed to go to sleep if you have not used it for a period and the screen locks. That is a battery saving measure. Wi-fi will automatically reconnect as soon as you wake the device. If you are losing cellular data, you would need to check with your cellular carrier about that issue.
