How can I troubleshoot iPhone data not working at home?

My data doesn't work when I'm home I have to be connected to wifi. I reset took my sim in and out all the works and it still doesn't work. I updated it and it worked for all of 5 minutes and now doesn't work again. any solutions or advice?
