siri won't replay Apple podcasts

I often fall sleep listing to a podcast, so a lot of episodes I listen to have been played but I actually haven’t listened to them

whenever I ask Siri “play latest episode of ____ podcast” she often replied with “there are no unplayed episodes of ____ Podcast”

I’ve tried saying “replay latest episode” but nothing. Why can siri only play unplayed episodes of a podcast? I thought siri was supposed to be smart now…
