Why does siri think I don't have Apple Podcasts loaded when I do?

Now all of sudden, when I ask Siri to play a podcast it tells me I don't have Apple Podcast loaded but I do. Frustrating and dangerous when driving as I don't want to go back to manually have to play podcasts. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm delighted to say YES that was the issue. I'd deleted Apple Music (as I don't use it). I reloaded it and hey presto, it worked! The folks on the Apple Helpline helped me solve it. Virtual (double) fist bump with an explosion (like the Cool Kids do).

Yay!!!!!! So pleased! I know its kinda cray-cray isn't it? The way they explained it to me was that Siri grabs something from Apple Music to take our voice commands on Apple Podcast. To me, it was/is so useful when I'm driving as I don't want to be touching my screen monitor in the car looking for my podcast shows and episodes. So the safety feature alone is so beneficial. I'm so pleased I/we/others have it back on! Virtual (running) chest bump! BOOM! That'll sting for a few days. Sorry about that.
