Apple...............Airprint still not working because of the 18.1 and 2 update. A simple fix but Canon is not helpful. My printer works perfectly except for Airprint, their solution, since my printer is end of life, buy and new printer. I will Apple would market a simple printer for iPhone users.

Yes I know. From what I determined since my printer is 8 years old, and canon no longer provides support, phone or otherwise, updating the firmware may interfer with my PC printing. And Apple support agreed this might cause me another issue. So, are you recommending to update the firmware? I may just use the Canon App for now and get a new printer, which I would rather, but we will see.

Actually, I would suggest replacing an 8 year old printer. Printing technology has significantly improved in 8 years, in addition to keeping firmware current. And even high quality printers are dirt cheap.

There is a known problem with Canon printers; some need firmware updates to be AirPrint compatible again.
