VoiceOver mode locked screen

I have an IPhone 15 and tried following the steps to tap on the number once then double tap each number for the six digit passcode. This doesn’t work. then I read this was for an older version with a 4 digit passcode. I am not sure if the process to unlock phone in VoiceOver mode Changed with newer IPhones?

iphone SE stuck on Lock Screen with Voiceover not accepting password There is an easy fix. I see many people with different iPhone versions have had this same problem. Try to enter your passcode at Lock Screen and voiceover says each number you hit, but it doesn’t get entered. Or the numbers entered do not unlock the device. Previous answer from Apple Support was to reset your phone. There is no need to do this. On the Lock Screen the first tap of a number selects the number, then double tapping the same number will enter that number in the Passcode field. You will have to repeat that process for each character in your Passcode. This will unlock your phone then you will be able to get into to your Settings to disable Voiceover and reenable it if you still want Voiceover. happy triple tapping.

Unable to unlock iPhone due to VoiceOver When I hit the home button, the numbers come up for the passcode and then their little box goes around where you enter the passcode and then when I press in the numbers, a computer female voice comes on and repeats them and this happens over and over and over, I’ve tried almost everything I would like some answers. When in voiceover you must tap twice for EVERY action; so tap each digit of your lock code twice.

If you have Siri enabled when the phone is locked say “Hey Siri, turn off VoiceOver"
