Unable to import a music CD to my Apple Music library Windows 11

I am trying to import a music CD to my Apple Music library (on PC Windows 11). I started by importing to iTunes. The problem is that iTunes imports the music files as an audiobook so it won't sync with Apple Music. Library sync is turned on but I don't think that's the issue. I haven't been able to find any way to identify the CD contents as music files in iTunes. I'm running the most current version of iTunes.

Also....this is the first time I've attempted this since my old iTunes library was migrated to Apple Music. Maybe a setting that needs to change somewhere ?
