How can I import music from a CD to Apple Music?

I'm trying to import some music into my Apple music library using Itunes on a Windows PC. When I do this, apple music tells me it is importing, but I cant se it in my library. What am I doing wrong?

After using iTunes to import the CD (as an audiobook!?) you need to manually import the ripped files into Apple Music, they don't get there automatically. In iTunes right-click on one of the tracks and use Show in Windows Explorer, select the files, press Ctrl+C to copy, then browse to the Automatically Add to Music folder inside your media folder, and use Ctrl+V to paste.

Or you can uninstall Apple Music, Apple Devices, and Apple TV, so that iTunes works properly again and isn't limited to working with audiobooks and podcasts.
