iOS podcasts: How can I hide the transcripts?

I don't want to see transcripts of every podcast. There is a "View Transcript" menu item, but no "Hide Transcript" option. Why not?? Or am I missing something?

Played podcast episodes not being removed after update to 18.4 After updating IOS 18.4 the Apple Podcasts app is not removing played episodes. In Podcasts settings I have the "Remove Played Episodes" selected and this has always worked in the past. Since this update, I now have to manually remove played episodes

Stop Podcasts autoplaying iPhone seems to often (but not always) start a random episode of some show when the one I am listening to finishes. Setting continuous play off in the podcast app settings does not prevent this. I can think of no circumstances in which this would be the behaviour I would want to see. Is there a permanent way to prevent the podcast app ever starting to play an episode until I actually click the play button?
