Random episodes from random shows end up in the Podcast's next queue post update

I used to be able to order my queue. Now the app keeps reverting to the order in which I initially added podcasts to the queue. So, it’s not random, but like you I have to check as every pod is ending to make sure I can listen to the one I want next.

Same issue across my Apple devices. Not fixed with 18.0.1. The Apple Podcast app is riddled with bugs like never before. Sad the bugs made it to the release version. The bugs are so obvious. What the heck?

Yes I’m seeing this too…this is VERY frustrating.

In addition, when it selects that random episode, it marks it as Played, so you may miss it later. While the randomly selected is still at the bottom of the screen, you can click the ⋯ at its rignt and click Unplayed.

This is what’s happening to me and it’s really annoying. I hope they get a fix for it soon since I like to add a bunch to my queue and move around as I would like.

I can add and reorder my queue, but then the queue moves episodes around on its own. When I quit and reopen the app the episodes are in the order I selected. A bug somewhere.
