Problems identifying a busbi digital image copier, it is shown connected as a usb device in the sytem yet not recognised as a scanner

I obtained a busbi digital image copier, (for slides /35mm negative) though no software with it. When checking the system information settings it is shown connected as a usb scanner 5MP, yet not recognised as a scanner when I try to add it. Any help would be appreciated.

Cannot load driver for Canon ImageFormula R40 scanner on MacBook Air Purchased a Canon scanner ImageFormula R40 to scan many business documents. At first I had trouble because the Mac kept saying the CaptureOnTouch app was damaged, no matter how many times I replaced it. I called Canon and they also added a Twain app and we got it to work. But even with the IT Canon person on the phone, we could not get the driver to read. The error message says "cannot load driver". My Mac Booker is last year's purchase and the OS is Sonoma 14.7.2 with the M2 2022 chip. I have the Canon scanner USB plugged into my hub because the Mac BookAir does not have any USB ports. Can anyone help? I need to get this working urgently for a current project. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Which scanner compatible with MacOs Ventura? I am once again really upset with Ventura. As an illustrator, I've been using my scanner CanoScan Life 700f for years and I just discovered that it is not compatible with Ventura. My computer does recognise it but it doesn't want to open. When I try, I get an error message : Failed to open a connection to the device (21345). Is there a solution (other than remove the scanner, restart computer,... which I have been doing?)? Or will I have to buy another one? If this is the case, which scanner is the best to buy to scan illustrations?

Return it - it’s discontinued and obsolete, no support available anywhere.
