I just bought a brand new top of the line M4 iMac with Magic Keyboard. I can't find any backlit keyboard settings. Support said external keyboards do NOT light up. Is this an oversight by Apple or a bug? I find it hard to believe they don't have a backlit keyboard option.

I also just purchased a new top of the line M4 iMac with the expanded Magic Keyboard.... and am very disappointed to learn an apparent design decision has not provided backlighting! i am a steadfast Apple fan from the Apple IIe to this newest iMac.... and I cannot understand why Apple would have made this design decision. Very disappointing.
It's neither an oversight nor a bug. It is a design decision.
