Apple Intelligence missing after iOS 18.2 update on iPhone 12 Pro Max
If you were under the impression an iPhone 12 Pro Max could run Apple Intelligence, you were under the wrong impression. Your phone doesn't have the RAM required to run Apple Intelligence. Only iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max and all iPhone 16 models have the RAM required to support Apple Intelligence.
Hi @atiqullah you should be able to get Apple Intelligence with a phone bought in the UK. I have one from the UK too and I enabled Apple Intelligence by changing the device language and Siri language to English (United States). You don’t have to change the region and you can leave that as UK.
You can get the English (United States) version of Apple Intelligence in the UK now if you are prepared to change the device language and Siri language or you have to wait for 18.2 for the English (UK) version of Apple Intelligence. You don’t have to change the region and you can leave that set to UK.
Hi @rahyan192 you should be able to get Apple Intelligence if you are prepared to set your device to use English (United States). Read how to get Apple Intelligence. You can keep your region. Change the language in two settings at General/Language & Region and also Apple Intelligence & Siri.
iOS 18.1 is available to all iPhone models that run iOS 18. Apple Intelligence features, however, are only available on a subset of those phones. Here’s the full list:
See this link and make sure you precisely follow all the directions --> How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support (CA)
A couple key points. Your language on your phone must be set to US English and so does Siri.
Did you open this link to make sure you live in a supported location and you have done everything required to get Apple Intelligence --> How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support (CA)
Also, if your iPhone model number ends in CH/A it was made for China and Apple Intelligence won't work on a China market phone until it is approved for use in China.

I bought this 15 s 2 months ago and it’s in English. But no apple intelligence after I updated to 18. How do I get AI?
15 s? Is your iPhone a 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max? The ONLY iPhone 15 models which are capable of running Apple Intelligence are the PRO models. You can't be in the EU. Your phone can't be a model manufactured for the China market, which you can check by going to Settings > General > About > Model and if it ends in CH/A, it's made for China.

You don't have to change the region. You DO have to change the language AND Siri language to a supported language. And you can't be in the EU, nor the China market, nor can your phone have been manufactured for the China Market. Did you follow everything in this link to make sure you meet every qualification --> How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support (CA)

Why Apple intelligent not working
We couldn't possibly guess. You haven't told us anything, like what iPhone Model you own, what iOS version is running, where you live in the world for example.
Have you gone through this link to make sure you meet ALL the qualifications required to use Apple Intelligence --> How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support (CA)

it only currently works on phones that regions are set to United States
change your region by going to
settings-general-region/languages
change to United States and then you’ll see the option to join the waiting list 👍
It was my understanding you also had to be in the U.S. and have an Apple ID with a U.S. region. Are you seeing something different?

I do not like it as much as I liked my iph max pro 13
Steps to Enable Apple Siri and Apple Intelligence:
1. Check Language and Region Settings:
• Go to Settings → General → Language & Region.
• Ensure the language (e.g., US English) and region match.
2. Update to iOS 18.2:
• Go to Settings → General → Software Update.
• Download and install iOS 18.2.
3. Enable Beta Features:
• Ensure at least 7 GB of free storage (check under Settings → General → iPhone Storage).
• Go to Settings → Siri & Search → Siri and Apple Intelligence.
