Hi, Yalskey.

  1. Only iPhone 15 Pro and newer models support Apple Intelligence.
  2. You need to set your language and region to English and the United States.
  3. Apple Intelligence must be enabled, so ensure you have turned it on in the settings.

For more help, you can try contacting Apple Support or check this article; it has some tips about how to turn on Apple Intelligence.

Apple Intelligence missing after iOS 18.2 update on iPhone 12 Pro Max

If you were under the impression an iPhone 12 Pro Max could run Apple Intelligence, you were under the wrong impression. Your phone doesn't have the RAM required to run Apple Intelligence. Only iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max and all iPhone 16 models have the RAM required to support Apple Intelligence.

Did you open this link to make sure you live in a supported location and you have done everything required to get Apple Intelligence --> How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support (CA)

Also, if your iPhone model number ends in CH/A it was made for China and Apple Intelligence won't work on a China market phone until it is approved for use in China.

I bought this 15 s 2 months ago and it’s in English. But no apple intelligence after I updated to 18. How do I get AI?

15 s? Is your iPhone a 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max? The ONLY iPhone 15 models which are capable of running Apple Intelligence are the PRO models. You can't be in the EU. Your phone can't be a model manufactured for the China market, which you can check by going to Settings > General > About > Model and if it ends in CH/A, it's made for China.

You don't have to change the region. You DO have to change the language AND Siri language to a supported language. And you can't be in the EU, nor the China market, nor can your phone have been manufactured for the China Market. Did you follow everything in this link to make sure you meet every qualification --> How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support (CA)

Why Apple intelligent not working

We couldn't possibly guess. You haven't told us anything, like what iPhone Model you own, what iOS version is running, where you live in the world for example.

Have you gone through this link to make sure you meet ALL the qualifications required to use Apple Intelligence --> How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support (CA)

it only currently works on phones that regions are set to United States

change your region by going to
settings-general-region/languages

change to United States and then you’ll see the option to join the waiting list 👍

It was my understanding you also had to be in the U.S. and have an Apple ID with a U.S. region. Are you seeing something different?

I do not like it as much as I liked my iph max pro 13
  • AI availability is dependent of your region and language set for the device and Siri. It must be English - US at this time. How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support
  • Some new AI features will be available in the iOS 18.2 update that should arrive shortly
  • For trouble with Siri, turn it off and then turn it back on to retrain Siri to your voice.
  • The iPhone 13 would not get any of the Apple Intelligence features that have been announced.
