Why is NFC not working on ios 18

I think my post with the link was accidentally deleted by the mods.

Reset your network settings

If you're using iOS or iPadOS 15 or later, tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

If you're using iOS or iPadOS 14 or earlier, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support

If that does not resolve the issue it may be a hardware failure. Apple Support can do remote diagnostics to aid in troubleshooting.

Normally, NFC related posts end up in the Apple Pay or Wallet app communities. Community members have reported it resolved their issue. However, in my experience, the more common issue is hardware failure. Apple support can do remote diagnostics to confirm operation of NFC module.
